Leighton Fairbairn is currently Director of Operational Excellence of Houston-based Cheniere Energy, Inc., the leading exporter of US LNG. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and aligning operations and engineering functions across facilities, establishing and overseeing

governance programs, and guiding growth initiatives through feasibility. She previously served in a variety of roles, including Director of Integrated Change Management and Manager of Operations Planning. Prior to joining Cheniere, Leighton spent over ten years with Marathon Oil both in the US and in Equatorial Guinea in various engineering, business, operations, and project positions. Leighton has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
