Praneet is a Senior Research Engineer at Google DeepMind, one of the leading Artificial Intelligence labs globally. Here, he serves as a lead for efforts in developing artificial intelligence techniques trained on simulation workloads to reduce industrial system carbon emissions. Given the importance of reducing carbon emissions, this work was able to reduce emissions in Google data centers by 40%.

Praneet has been invited to be a part of the Technical Program Committee of leading Artificial Intelligence journals such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR. He serves as part of the leadership council for the Confederation of Indian Industry Artificial Intelligence Task Force, AI for Social Good and Ai4.

His work has been published in leading academic venues, and covered across the media. Some of his technical blogs on Applied Machine Learning have been featured on the Google cloud website.Praneet holds an MS from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Engineering and is an alumni of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Ignite program.
