Steve Bowman is the general manager of Chevron’s Enterprise AI team and is responsible for all aspects of Chevron’s AI efforts across the enterprise. He assumed the role in October 2020 and is based in Houston, TX.
Prior to this role, Steve led Chevron’s Wells Digital Platform, where he was responsible for digital tools supporting drilling, completions, workover and abandonment activities. He began his career as a production engineer with Texaco in New Orleans, LA, and has held roles of increasing responsibility across deepwater, shelf and land asset classes in North America.
Steve holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a native of Cut Off, LA.
