He also serves as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Southern California and a Principal Scientist at USC’s Information Sciences Institute. His work, funded by agencies such as DARPA, IARPA, and the Office of Naval Research has focused on modeling population belief systems and cultural dynamics using open-source and behavioral data, work that underpins CommonGround's ability to assess human factors in operational planning and strategic decision-making. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and brings deep expertise in computational social science, belief modeling, and the design of AI systems for complex sociotechnical environments.
