Scottie has over 20 years of project management experience, including 10+ years in the oil and gas industry. His oil and gas background includes time spent in Accounting, Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Planning, and IT. Before moving into consulting, his career highlights included managing a capital budget of +$4billion, scheduling 20+ rigs and 10+ frac crews, managing a joint-venture partner, and designing repeatable processes for budgeting and financial tools.

From there, Scottie moved into Corporate Planning helping align financial tools and processes across the organization and then into IT/Data to align financial data with operational data. During his time working in IT and a large independent oil and gas operator, he helped establish data governance and data management programs, processes to support a growing data warehouse, and a central reporting team.

In 2020, Scottie moved into consulting with a focus on data warehouse migrations, designing and implementing data management/governance programs, and system implementations. He has managed +10 data warehouse migrations, he has been involved in +15 data projects involving advanced analytics and machine learning, and he has handled multiple system implementations and/or upgrades. His experience includes tailoring projects for organizations across 10 different industries, five Fortune 500 companies, new startups, and private equity backed organizations.
