Ionut is currently serving as the Cyber Security Governance Manager at ENOC headquartered in Dubai. He has expertise in cyber security (OT and IT security) programmes in oil & gas, defence, telecom, and financial sectors and has delivered projects across Europe, Asia and the GCC. Ionut has more than 20 years of information security experience.
 
Before joining ENOC, Ionut worked and acquired experience in cyber security, investment, data management and software knowledge domains. His roles varied from developing a reserve simulation model based on MCMC to investigating frauds.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Ovidius University (Romania), a MSc in information security from Royal Holloway (UK) and is currently pursuing a MSc in quantitative finance with University of London (UK).
